ABC Kite Fest

 9th Annual Balloons Over Horseshoe Bay Resort

Get ready for one of the most eagerly awaited occasions of the year, making a comeback at Horseshoe Bay Resort on Easter Weekend from April 7 to April 9, 2023. Experience the thrill as hot air balloons from all over the United States descend on Horseshoe Bay Resort for a fantastic celebration packed with live music, an Easter egg drop, sky divers, helicopter rides, balloon glows, delicious food, and much more!  Two Step Inn

Get ready to immerse yourself in the honky tonk culture at the World's Largest Outdoor Honky Tonk - Two Step Inn! The event features over 40 artists performing live music across three stages, with a mix of country currents, classics, and the country curious. You can also indulge in tasty festival food and drinks from the top vendors in Central Texas. With multiple dance floors, you'll have plenty of opportunities to show off your moves, and there are dedicated areas to purchase merchandise from the artists and the festival. 

 Capitol 10k

April 16

The Capitol 10k is a long-standing annual race and a beloved springtime tradition in Austin. This race starts and finishes near the Texas State Capitol building and takes runners on a scenic route through downtown Austin. In addition to the main race, the Finish Line Festival also includes live music and food and beverage options like the Cap10K Cocktail Corner, presented by Tito's Handmade Vodka.


April 20-23

The 36th Annual Old Settler's Music Festival is a four-day celebration of Americana music that brings together local favorites and award-winning artists from around the world. This event, featuring roots, folk, acoustic, jazz, blues, bluegrass, singer-songwriter, gospel, and country genres, is held at The Old Settler’s Homestead in Tilmon, Texas. With three campgrounds covering over 29 acres of tree-covered parkland, campers can look forward to late-night jam sessions around the campfire while savoring delectable food, eclectic arts and crafts, and ice-cold local libations that add to the magical experience.

Monster Jam

The event features massive monster trucks, each weighing several tons, competing in a series of challenges such as racing, freestyle, and donut competitions. In addition to the main event, the show also includes a ticketed pit party, where attendees can meet the drivers and get up close to the trucks.  Red Poppy Festival

 Austin Blues Festival

The Austin Blues Festival is an annual event that celebrates the blues music genre and features live performances from local and national blues musicians. It is a one-day event at the Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park that brings together music lovers and blues enthusiasts to enjoy a day of live music and celebration of this iconic music genre.

 Eeyore’s 58th Birthday Celebration

The festival is inspired by the character Eeyore from the Winnie the Pooh stories and is a celebration of his "birthday." The festival features live music, food and beverage vendors, and interactive activities for attendees of all ages. One of the main highlights of the festival is the costume contest, where attendees dress up in creative and whimsical costumes inspired by Eeyore and other characters from Winnie the Pooh. This event also benefits many local non-profits!
