Real experiences from buyers and sellers in this neighborhood

The pandemic made it difficult for us (from Iowa) to personally visit sites of possible homes in Austin and its vicinity. Add to that the prevailing crazy housing market — it made finding and buying your perfect home in another state so daunting, if not next to impossible! But Cara Keenan and the whole of Joe Keenan and Cara Keenan's team made it all feasible for us as if we were just close by! She made it easier for us to look at possibilities, was very responsive, gave much clearer pictures of properties that interested us, and was so patient with us as we go from one property to the next. No pressure. Her words of encouragement helped ease our disappointment each time we found out the house was already sold or our offer was not accepted. Since we could not be there to see the property (which we eventually purchased), she brought the details to us through videos, some of which she made under some bad weather! Now, that's dedication! She has a well-organized team that helped us and anticipated our needs, and made the whole finding-to-closing process so much smoother. Even after closing, the team still communicates with us, trying their best to help us, especially as we are still in the process of moving a few weeks after closing! They're all very caring, very gracious, and highly professional. It truly was a pleasure working with them, and we would highly recommend Cara Keenan and the Keenan Group in a heartbeat!

Cara Keenan and Joe Keenan are the most exceptional Realtors you can find-anywhere. Finding a trustworthy Realtor in Austin from PA could've been a disaster, but we found the gem of all gems! Not only is their knowledge about the market and the process unmatched, but their impeccable service and reliability was what we appreciated the most during the purchase of our home. We told Cara Keenan and Joe Keenan over and over that we were sure that we weren't her only clients, but we always felt as if we were! Never a question went unanswered or a moment passed that we couldn't contact Cara Keenan or Joe Keenan; our needs were consistently fulfilled, and our expectations were surpassed. They would even tell you that we had unforeseen obstacles; but, even when we didn't know there were questions, Cara Keenan and Joe Keenan provided the answers. We also found the Keenan Group at Compass Real Estate site far superior to others in its ability to provide detailed, current information. It allowed us to search and save homes, which also made the long-distance relocation extraordinarily easier. We are happy to say that Cara Keenan and Joe Keenan have become our friends-they are truly in a class of their own! We will definitely refer them to others and look forward to opportunities to work with them again.

Let me start by saying that Joe Keenan and Cara Keenan did an awesome job. Not only were they polite and respectful, but they were informative and down right professional. This was my first time buying a house and I have to say they made it a very pleasant and almost easy experience. I would recommend these two to anyone who knows what kind of things they are looking for, and even those who don't, these Realtors know their stuff so they can help find anything that fits you. They don't try and sell you or give false information. I feel as if they wanted what was best for me even if I didn't decide to go with them. I can't express how much I appreciate all that was done for me. As a young adult stepping into a new environment of purchasing my own home, they made sure I understood and knew every detail that went into what I was going to buy. All in all, this was a great experience for me and I hope more people will request Joe Keenan and Cara Keenan because I know they will help to the best of their abilities and beyond. Thanks again guys!

Cara Keenan and Joe Keenan are ridiculously good at what they do. They helped us sell our house, and we are so happy that we had them on our side throughout. A couple of things, in particular, stand out. Cara Keenan did a fabulous job of assessing exactly where we needed to put work into our house before selling it to really convince potential buyers of its value and where we didn't need to put in work, and things would be fine. After that, Cara Keenan and her team went way above and beyond what I ever expected from a real estate agent. They found good contractors, oversaw every aspect of the work, from painting to electrical to various repairs, and stepped in every time anything went wrong to get it fixed before we even started worrying. When we finally put our house on the market, Cara Keenan and Joe Keenan expertly navigated a complicated multiple-offer situation in a way that resulted in a much better outcome for us than we expected. An agent less expert could easily have fumbled that one. We are so happy that we were working with Cara Keenan and Joe Keenan. You cannot go wrong with this team.

Suffice it to say, we have had a great experience with Joe Keenan. We all worked hard to get the house on the market. And he was patient with us with all our questions. With his experience and his network, we were able to get things ready and get things set up. He was able to guide us and gave us necessary space. And he was available when we needed to talk and were ready to move forward. Folks each have different support needs and Gina and I's requirements are directness and communication. At the same time, we need some time to move forward on actions and review next steps. Joe Keenan is able to provide both space, time and communicate. We would and will recommend Joe Keenan. Additionally, we are looking forward to continuing our relationship with him as we look to purchasing a new home in the coming few months. Our thanks to Joe Keenan for all his help and time.

Home buying and selling are personal; it's also often tedious and emotional. When the world changed in 2020, and our visions for our next home were dragged along for the ride, the Keenan Group demonstrated grace, patience, support, and some much-needed hilarity. Cara Keenan and Joe Keenan and their team will be there for you through the process like the friends we all wish we had. They supported my family through a home sale and purchase during a pandemic, pregnancy, demanding work schedules, and with three kids under 3! Cara Keenan has literally played with our toddlers and held the baby, so my husband and I could focus on exploring homes. The team answers emails and texts day and night and are fast to schedule showings. Going far above and beyond the typical real estate advice you might expect to receive from excellent agents, Cara Keenan and Joe Keenan have taken the time to counsel and guide us on the endless issues consequential to homeownership, even after our selling and buying journey ended. To name just a few, they have shared a wealth of information related to pool installation, even providing written talking points for meeting with pool contractors, numerous referrals ranging from general contractors to trades to drapery designers, and personal feedback on design selections. If you are looking for unparalleled local real estate knowledge and partnership for your home sale or purchase, there is no better choice than Cara Keenan and Joe Keenan and team.

Four Seasons at Lake Austin is for buyers who want direct Lake Austin waterfront living within a structured, gated community. Unlike buying a standalone waterfront property — where you handle your own dock permits, seawall maintenance, and lake access — Four Seasons provides a managed environment with shared marina, maintained common areas, and community standards.
The housing stock is a mix of waterfront and non-waterfront homes built from the early 2000s through the 2010s. Waterfront homes sit directly on Lake Austin with private docks, while interior homes trade water access for lower prices and often have hill or canyon views. Floor plans range from 3,000 to 7,000+ square feet.

Four Seasons at Lake Austin is located off RM 2222 in northwest Austin, between the Steiner Ranch area and the River Place corridor. The geography is hilly and scenic, with Lake Austin forming the southern boundary of the community.
Access roads are winding two-lane hill roads — RM 2222 and RM 620. They are scenic but can be slow during peak hours and after heavy rain. This is not a straight-shot highway commute.
The lake is the community's identity. Four Seasons exists because of Lake Austin, and the daily rhythm of the community reflects that — mornings on the water, evenings at the pool or community dock, weekends with boats and paddleboards. The lake is not a backdrop; it is the reason people live here.
The constraint is access. RM 2222 is a beautiful drive, but it is also a curvy, sometimes congested two-lane road. Every trip to Austin proper goes through this corridor, and there is no high-speed alternative. Buyers should drive the commute during peak hours before making a decision.
Four Seasons buyers typically compare with Lake Austin standalone waterfront, Steiner Ranch, and River Place. The decision comes down to community structure versus independence and Lake Austin versus non-waterfront.
