Taken as pages from the Great Drawings from the Louvre Museum, the paper is installed in the order in which the art is viewed in the museum itself. This jaw-dropping level of detail and restoration is present throughout the home in places like the original dining room doors, the reclaimed kitchen island complete with soapstone countertop, the functioning pulley and rope windows, and the remodeled library. Hackett House was further enhanced in 2018 when its current owners added a two bedroom, one bath guest house complete with living, kitchen, laundry, and a fully private entrance off of 34th Street. The guest house is attached to a one-car garage, a storage room, and an outdoor shower making it the perfect setup for guests or renters alike.
