The Austin Weekender: May 29–31, 2026

May 29, 2026 edition

This is an archive of the original Weekender selections for the dates above. Schedules and property details describe that edition, not current events or availability.

Television, theater, and live music made this a performance-focused weekend. A ceramics pop-up and Austin Sol’s game added smaller shopping and sports options to the roundup.

The weekend’s events

The Robber Bridegroom Play

Original schedule: All weekend long | Times vary

Zach Theater’s The Robber Bridegroom combined musical theater with bluegrass. Live fiddle and banjo were part of the production description, which drew on Southern folklore.
