Spanish Oaks is a gated golf community of 485 homes at build-out on about 900 acres next to Bee Cave, in Lake Travis ISD. Bobby Weed designed the par-71 course, which Golf Digest named one of the best new private clubs of 2003 and Golfweek's Best 2025 ranks No. 7 among private courses in Texas. The Spanish-Colonial clubhouse has a private dining room, a bar and a golf shop, and members play with caddies. Every homeowner gets the HOA amenities: two gatehouses staffed 24 hours a day, the Pool Pavilion, the Fish Camp on a private lake, and trails through seven private parks. Spanish Oaks Golf Club membership is separate and optional.
The Spanish Oaks Lifestyle
Life in Spanish Oaks runs on two tracks. The HOA gives every homeowner the gated entry, the Pool Pavilion with its lap lanes and sandy-beach shallow area, the stocked Fish Camp lake and the trails along Little Barton Creek. The golf club is a separate choice: a Bobby Weed course set through oak groves and creek valleys, played with caddies and without tee times for members.

A golf membership at Spanish Oaks Golf Club costs $200,000 to join and $1,365 a month, as confirmed with the club in October 2026. It includes golf and food only. Members can add the Austin Tennis Academy for $2,000 to join plus $100 a month. Buying a home in Spanish Oaks does not guarantee membership.
