First Friday Art Trail
*Friday, October 2; 6:00 PM–10:00 PM*
Every first Friday, HOPE Outdoor Gallery turns into a free, self-guided night of art. Expect rotating exhibits, live local music, artist and maker vendors, food trucks and interactive pop-ups across the space. Admission is free, so you can wander the space and talk with the artists. Move for Wishes: Fitness Class at Fairmont Austin
*Saturday, October 3; 10:00 AM–12:00 PM*
Fairmont Austin hosts a morning workout that supports Make-A-Wish. An F45 instructor leads a HIIT class, and afterward you can try cold plunges, a Hyperice recovery zone and wellness pop-ups from HigherDOSE and Circadia. The class is on Fairmont's 7th-floor rooftop, and a $25 per person donation to Make-A-Wish reserves your spot. Fairmont lists 10:00 AM to noon, while the Make-A-Wish page shows 9:00 to 11:00 AM, so confirm the start time when you register. Register for Move for Wishes.

Cars, Coffee & Croissants: Mozart’s 2026 Fall Porsche Show
*Sunday, October 4; 9:00 AM–1:00 PM*
The Hill Country Region Porsche Club brings new and vintage Porsches, spanning more than 50 years of the marque, to Mozart’s Coffee Roasters on Lake Austin. Walk the rows, listen to live gypsy jazz from the Austin Django Project, and pick up pastries with Mozart’s own roasted coffee. It is free to attend, and the organizers ask you to RSVP so they can plan. RSVP for the Porsche show.

Cocktails & Comedy
*Sunday, October 4; 8:00 PM–9:30 PM*
End the weekend at the Velveeta Room, Austin’s longest-running comedy club, for a speakeasy-style night of stand-up. The lineup pairs rising comics with headliners whose credits include Dry Bar, Comedy Central, Kill Tony, SiriusXM and Netflix. Tickets are also sold at the door. Rescheduled: the 21st Annual Bluegrass & Folk Festival at the Mason Homestead in Leander moved to Friday, October 16, and Saturday, October 17, because of weather. See the City of Leander’s festival page.
