We wanted a gated community with canyon views and Cara recommended River Place. She was upfront that the commute to downtown is 25-30 minutes but said the trade-off is you feel like you're living in the Hill Country. She was right. The Tom Kite golf course is beautiful, the pool is great for kids, and we have deer in our backyard every morning. Cara also knew that Leander ISD has some strong elementary schools in the River Place area.

River Place wasn't on our radar until Cara showed us what you get for the money compared to Westlake Hills. Similar lot sizes, gated entry, golf and tennis — but at 60% of the price. The trade-off is Leander ISD instead of Eanes, and Cara was transparent about the differences. For us, the schools were still strong and the savings let us buy a bigger house with a pool. Cara helped us do the math and it was clear.
